DS 4 cultivates a particularly refined spirit thanks to the integration of screens with the dashboard, its E-TOGGLE control, its stylized electric windows and its invisible DS AIR central vents. Drawing on their expertise, our teams have also selected new materials such as forged carbon, brown ash and leather, grained or Nappa in its bracelet making, iconic signature of the Brand, to enhance its interior.

 DS 4 cultivates a very uncluttered feel thanks to its screens built into the dashboard, its E-TOGGLE control, its stylised electric window buttons and its invisible DS AIR central vents. Using their expertise, our team has also enhanced its interior by choosing unique materials such as forged carbon, brown ash and grained or Nappa Leather for its watchstrap upholstery, an iconic Brand signature.

DS EXTENDED HEAD UP DISPLAY

The DS EXTENDED HEAD-UP DISPLAY marks an immersive visual experience as we move towards augmented reality. Projected through the windscreen, digital information appears to be on the road so you never have to take your eyes off it.
DS IRIS SYSTEM
DS IRIS SYSTEM is our new intuitive, ergonomic information ecosystem that can be completely personalised. It combines a personal assistant that uses a touch interface as well as understanding what you say so the system does what you want, when you want.
DS SMART TOUCH
Access one of your 6 favourite shortcuts (destination, contact, radio, ventilation set-up etc…) using a single movement without taking your eyes off the road through DS SMART TOUCH. Perfectly situated close to your hand, this touchscreen follows your movements and recognises gestures such as zooming in, zooming out and even handwriting.
DS DRIVE ASSIST 2.0
DS DRIVE ASSIST 2.0 broadens the experience of autonomous driving by including semi-automatic lane changing and anticipated speed recommendations according to sign posts.
DS DRIVE ASSIST
Long journeys have never been easier, thanks to DS DRIVE ASSIST. Our level 2 semi-autonomous driving* system features adaptive cruise control, which controls your speed relative to the traffic conditions and also can stop and restart in traffic jams. The system also helps to keep your DS 4 perfectly positioned in the middle of its lane by gently adapting the steering. It makes for a more relaxed driving experience, especially on motorways, and helps to keep you safe.
DS ACTIVE SCAN SUSPENSION
The new generation of DS MATRIX LED VISION projector headlamps are slim and modern looking and give DS 4 hatchback Matrix Beam and Dynamic Bending Light (lighting that sees round corners). The beam accurately senses your surroundings and adapts to it with five pre-set modes (town, country, motorway, bad weather and fog), so that you can use main beam headlamps in all conditions, without dazzling other road users.
DS NIGHT VISION
An infrared camera positioned in DS 4’s grille spots pedestrians and animals up to 200 meters ahead and displays them in the digital instrument panel so that you can see danger and react safely. A real step forward in safety that guarantees more relaxed driving, even in the middle of the night.

Emissions

With the 225 hp plug-in hybrid engine, the DS 4 E-TENSE combines low emissions and low consumption: starting from 32 g/km of CO₂ and 1.4 l/100km. This allows you to drive in the city even during traffic restrictions.

Speed

Speed is one of the parameters that most affects the range of your plug-in hybrid vehicle. Opt for a consistent and moderate speed to preserve your car's range.

Thermal comfort and heating

Depending on external weather conditions, your vehicle's battery is used more or less to regulate the cabin temperature. In winter, energy consumption can be 35% higher than in spring, so it is recommended to precondition the atmosphere of your plug-in hybrid vehicle while it is still charging.

Driving style and elevation

The road terrain and your driving style particularly influence the range of your plug-in hybrid vehicle. Favor the Hybrid mode among the four available driving modes, adopt eco-driving habits, and use regenerative braking to optimize your battery and save up to 15% of energy.
