DS PERFORMANCE
DS Automobiles created its competition department, DS Performance, with the clear ambition of acquiring the necessary experience to accelerate its electrification and increase its notoriety.
Continuing this approach, our brand new DS E-TENSE FE23 single-seater developed by DS Performance will bring the track experience to new generation electric cars. Engaged with PENSKE AUTOSPORT, DS Automobiles aims to regain its two double titles (Drivers and Teams) won in 2019 and 2020.

DS E-TENSE FE23 GEN3
A third-generation, 100% electric single-seater, this new car delivered in “black and gold”, perfectly embodying the codes of DS Automobiles, demonstrates above all an immense technological leap.
The fastest Formula E of all time (max speed 280 km/h on a street circuit), it is also lighter (60 kg less than the Gen2), and above all much more efficient with more than 40% of the energy used during a race coming from braking regeneration.

Third generation
Also more powerful (350 kW instead of 250 kW), the DS E-TENSE FE23 is equipped with 4 regenerative wheels. A new front powertrain adding 250 kW to the 350 kW at the rear, doubling the regeneration capacity of the Gen2 for a total of 600 kW. Finally, thanks to the addition of the front powertrain, this single-seater is the first single-seater without rear hydraulic brakes.
From competition comes automotive innovation
Driven by audacity and the desire to build the automobile of tomorrow, it is with ambition that DS Automobiles draws inspiration from racing technologies in its exceptional models.
Succeed with excellence in the transfer of skills between Formula E and production cars; it is the avant-garde spirit.
